Chocolate Cream Pie

7 eggs, separated
7 oz. sugar 7 oz. dark chocolate (2 bars) 1 non-dairy whipped topping

Preheat oven to 350 F.
Beat egg whites to form a snow. Add half the sugar (3.5 oz) to the snow. Mix on high for 1-2 minutes, until snow becomes glossy. Set aside.
Melt margarine and chocolate on a double boiler.
Beat egg yolks. Add the remaining half of the sugar and the chocolate mixture. Mix well. Fold in the snow.
Pour 1/2 to 3/4 of the chocolate batter into a 9" round pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Let cool.
Pour remaining batter over baked cake. Freeze for 2 hours.
Whip up dessert topping. Use to decorate by spreading over cake or pipping stars around the border. You can grate additional chocolate for a more elegant look.
Serve frozen. Remove from freezer 5 minutes before serving.
