I've tried Canyon Bakehouse breads, they are amazing! The taste and texture is JUST like regular bread or better even. Seriously, it leaves nothing to be desired (aside from a reasonable price).
I thought these would be the same. Sadly I must report to you that they are most definitely not. Just as another reviewer stated they are dry, hard, and tasteless. Not repulsive like other gluten free bread, but definitely not good. They bordered on being a chore to eat.
This MAY have been partly because the bag I received was ripped and damaged. But there's no way it affected them so much. A real shame either way.
I know of no alternative without sucrose or gluten. Sorry. :(
Will definitely be ordering these again. Taste like and has very similar texture to hamburger buns I used to have before diagnosis of gluten intolerance.
save your money, these rolls are hard, dry & tasteless....wound up eating my burger in a plate:-)
