PANCAKE MIX RECIPES
Ingredients:Gluten Free Pancake Mix
For Sweet Toppings: Serve with fruit salad, pour over maple syrup or honey or serve with ice cream.
For Savory Toppings: Serve with sauteed mushrooms, leaf salad, tomato and cheese. Great starter for breakfast or for any meal of the day.
Ranch style pancakes:
Sieve contents of this packet into a bowl and add:
240 ml (8 fl oz) cold water
90 ml (3 fl oz) milk
3 eggs (lightly beaten)
Directions:
1. Stir all ingredients into smooth batter.
2. Lightly grease frying pan and preheat.
3. Pour batter into frying pan to desired size and cook over low-medium heat.
4. When the edge of the pancake appears cooked and bubbles have burst turn over and cook other side until golden brown.
Egg Free Pancakes:
Sieve contents of this pack into a bowl and add:
330 ml (2 fl oz) water
120 ml milk (4 fl oz)
3 tablespoons melted or liquid shortening
Directions as above.
Milk and Egg Free Pancakes:
Sieve contents of this pack into a bowl and add:
450 ml water (15 fl oz)
3 tablespoons melted or liquid shortening
Directions as above.
